Times Are Changing At The Y

Now that the school year has begun and Labor Day has passed, Summer is starting to fade away and along with that comes the time for changes.

Winter Hours

The Johnson County Family YMCA is now running on our Winter Hours. These hours will run for the rest of 2019 and through Memorial Day 2020.

  • Weekdays: 5:00 am – 9:00 pm
  • Saturdays: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Sundays: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Times for group fitness classes and the pool have changed as well. For the most up to date information on these times, please check the calendars on our homepage.

Swim Team Season Is Here

The Lady Bison Swim Team kicks off the Swim Team Season here at the YMCA. You can expect to see them here for practice in the mornings and afternoons.

  • Mornings: 6:00 am – 7:30 am (Shared Use – Members/Nonmembers Welcome)
  • Afternoons: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Exclusive Pool Use by Swim Team)

For times and dates of BHS swim meets, please visit the BHS Athletics Calendar Page. Please note that these times and dates may be subject to change.

The swim seasons for the Buffalo Swim Club, Bison and Clear Creek Middle School teams will follow the Lady Bison swim season. Expect the Practice Schedule to last into March 2020.

The Buffalo Swim Club will be holding their 2-Day Winter Swim Meet earlier in the season this year. It will be held on Saturday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th. The pool will not be open for open swim these days. A smaller one-day swim meet may also take place in February.
