2020 – 2021 Giving Campaign
Y Partners
Each year, the Y Partners campaign helps support the financial needs of our community. 2020 has presented new challenges stemming from COVID-19 that make the campaign more important than ever. Challenges began with the six-week shutdown of the facility in Spring 2020 and have compounded with the loss of over $60,000 in membership revenue due to individuals and families having to cancel their memberships as they have been thrust into sudden financial difficulties. Your support means more now than ever.
Every Dollar Counts
Your contributions have a significant impact on families in our community. Even a small donation can give a Student, Senior Citizen, or Family access to the programs at the Y that can inspire a lifetime of health and wellness.
Capital Endowment
The Johnson County Family YMCA relies on its members, business partners, and the community to provide for its long-term viability. The Y Foundation (operational capital) and the Capital Endowment Fund (building improvements and capital projects) work in concert to ensure that the Y can continue to offer the programs and services that promote the mission of lifelong health and wellness for all residents of Johnson County.
The Y Foundation has provided annual distributions for decades that are essential to daily operations. The newly established Capital Endowment Fund will provide funding for capital projects including new equipment, additions and expansions to the existing buildings, and ultimately a new facility.
Put Your Donation Where You Want It
By default, your donation will go to the campaign that is Most in Need. However, if you would like to target your donation or even split it between multiple campaigns, follow these steps:
- Where you see “Select the campaign you would like to donate to” select the 2020 – 2021 Giving Campaign option.
- You can now click on one or both: ’20 – ’21 Capital Endowment and/or ’20 – ’21 Y Partners
- With both selected, you can customize the percentage of your donation you want to go to each. (Please note you will need to update both percentages. Any remaining percentage will automatically be applied to Most in Need.)
- If you have questions, please call the Y at 307 684 9558 and ask for Tim Miner, Tim Cahhal, or Nate Griffith.
