The 8 Week Ironman

Are You Up For The Challenge?

The Ironman Triathlon is one of the most grueling endurance events in the world consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run. The challenge will be to complete an Ironman distance triathlon cumulatively over 8 weeks.

Let’s break it down… Over the course of 8 weeks, it’s only… 

  • Swim – 0.3 miles each week – 11 laps in our pool or 1 water exercise class
  • Bike – 14 miles each week – 1 Group Cycle class or 1 hour on a recumbent bike
  • Run/Walk – 3.3 miles each week – Treadmill, elliptical, or 13.5 laps around the Grace Field track

WHEN: February 10th – April 6th (at your own pace)

COST: $35 for members and non-members with all finishers receiving a finisher prize.
