Champions Aren’t Born… They’re Built
Endurance, strength, agility, and so much more! Our Youth Fitness classes are designed to help kids start a lifelong journey of health and wellness. Youth classes are held in both the Y Gym and our state-of-the-art Strength & Agility Center. Creating exercise habits young helps to build bone density, connective tissue, and prevent injuries all while having a great time! Our focus is to get youth into sport shape. Each class features a fast-paced, high-energy environment that is certain to appeal to youth; whether they are an athlete or a youth looking for engagement and peer community, these classes have got them covered.
Each session will focus on a specific athletic skill that will enhance their abilities, accountability to themselves, self-worth, and start a habit that lasts a lifetime.

PE Class for Homeschoolers
Are you looking for something active for your child during the school day? Do they need a break from their studies? Look no further! The Johnson County Family YMCA is happy to announce that we will be offering a PE Class for 1st – 8th graders, beginning Tuesday, December 1st.
Physical Education classes give students the opportunity to step away from their desks and move their bodies. They gain the benefits of mental health support, stress relief, heart health, and more. Bring your kids in for a fun and exciting time!

Youth Personal Training
The trouble with starting an exercise program is that it can be intimidating. This is especially true for youth. Not everyone knows how to work out and ultimately reap the benefits. That’s where Youth Personal Training can help!
By working with a Personal Trainer, youth will be able to create a healthy exercise habit and routine, while being held accountable. By keeping their workouts filled with variety, a Personal Trainer will help them as they progress towards their fitness goals. This variety helps to keep things different and enjoyable and keeps the youth coming back for more.
Group Youth Personal Training
We do realize that working one-on-one with a Personal Trainer may be intimidating for youth, this is why we also offer Group Youth Personal Training. By working with up to three (3) of their peers (4 max, for groups larger than this, please contact Seth Fischer below), youth will be driven to succeed as they have a common goal to reach for.
One on One

$125 | 5 Hour
$250 | 10 Hour + 1 Bonus Hour
