Swim lessons are held each month with the exception of May, August, and sometimes December, depending on the way holidays fall.

This is the beginning group of our swim education program. Level 1 students and new to the water and we will be teaching them to be comfortable in the water. Some activities we will be teaching them are moving in the water, submerging their whole body, and some water safety. If your child is able to go underwater voluntarily, consider signing them up for the next level. If your child just needs a refresher that’s ok too!

This group will expand on what the students learned in Level 1. It is very important that the student can go underwater so they can learn the skills at this level. We will add more complex movements in the water, float on their back, and submerge for different objects underwater. The activities of the students at this level will increase their confidence in the water.

The students will work on being able to float and move through the water independently.  Students enrolled in this level should be able to push off the wall on their front and back and be able to swim 10 feet. There will be more activities to continue the students comfort level in the water.

At this level, the students should be able to swim the width of the pool and will work on building their swimming endurance and strength. The students will work on learning survival strokes and be introduced to the four competitive strokes as well. Other activities the students will work on are diving and swimming underwater.
