Topic: Maintenance Week

Day 2 of Maintenance Week is twice as busy!

Work started bright and early this morning (6:00 am to be precise!).  Six painters were able to repaint the entire pool floor.  The paint smell nearly knocked a person over, but the end product is fantastic!  Work in the lobby continues to move along rapidly.  The electrical layout is nearly complete with drywall being hung right behind.  And if that wasn’t enough, we have also started the installation of the new fitness room flooring.  Add the roofers over the pool, and boy is it BUSY at the Y!

The first day of Maintenance Week is underway!

Work at the Y started today at 6:00 a.m. in the lobby, gym and pool.  The pictures below show the start of the lobby remodel.  The remodel will be the most work done in the lobby since it was built in 1978!

The Friday before Maintenance Week

Even though Maintenance Week doesn’t start until next week, the staff is hard at work preparing for all the projects that will start at 6:00 a.m. Monday morning!

New Equipment Is Coming!

As part of Maintenance Week the Y has purchased new equipment for the weight room and cardio room!  The equipment will include a treadmill and additional free weights to provide even more fitness opportunities.
